(1543-1592) The eleventh in a line of temple priests of the Hoganji Buddhists, and child of Akashi.  He resisted the power of the Samurai and raised an army of temple followers to fight throughout various parts of Japan.  He fought particularly hard against Oda Nobunaga, who had made deals with the Christians from Europe.
