hilosophy was an important part of life in the ancient world. With so many cultures meeting and interacting with each other, ideas travelled as freely as anything else, and there were a great number of opinions about how humanity could best achieve its goals of happiness and prosperity.
In Strength & Honour, you can endorse particular philosophies in your nation to influence how the people in your nation will behave—but each philosophy has its trade offs. Militarism, for example, is a good philosophy for encouraging army recruitment, but does little to address the spiritual needs of the people. Epicureanism is good for making people happy, but reduces their willingness to produce wealth for your nation. You’ll have to use philosophy wisely to ensure your nation does not become too weak in any particular area.

ilitarism. An aggressive attitude that admires strength, power, and control above all else. Power belongs to those with the strength to seize it, and the weak exist only to serve the mighty.
